Woods Institute Water Salon - I
The Stanford Woods Institute for the Environment held a Freshwater Salon on Mach 16, 2010, where faculty presented an overview of current research at Stanford and plans for three strategic research collaborations that will address major freshwater challenges facing humankind. Two of the strategic collaborations, Global Freshwater Initiative, and Program on Water, Health and Development, will address questions facing water managers in major parts of the world. The third strategic collaborations, joint program on Water in the West, will focus on solving water issues facing the western United States.
