Celebrating Artie Bienenstock -- A symposium on October 10, 2015 at SLAC will highlight Artie's contributions to science, graduate student training, Stanford University, US science policy, SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, the development of synchrotron radiation (link is external), and the Stanford Synchrotron Radiation Lightsource (SSRL).Formal talks will focus on some of these topics, and informal contributions will also be welcomed.
