Combine an optional Brunch at the West Cafe at 10 am with "Seeing Nature" Exhibit at the Portland Art Museum at 12 noon with a Stanford Alumni docent. This exhibit explores the evolution of European and American landscape painting.  Seeing Nature: Landscape Masterworks from the Paul G.Allen Family Collection features 39 paintings from the five centuries of masterpieces drawn from the collection of Microsoft cofounder and philanthropist Paul G. Allen. This exhibit includes five Impressionist canvases painted in France, London and Venice by the French master Claude Monet.  PAM member families can attend the exhibit free.  Nonmembers adults are required to pay $20 and Seniors and students $17 at the door.  You must register in advance to attend this event.  The West Cafe Brunch format is ordering off a menu with many breakfast, soup, salad, & sandwiches options.  The West Cafe and Portland Art Museum are only two blocks from each other.
