It wasn't suppposed to be a family reunion, except in the sense that all alumni are part of the Stanford family. But just try telling that to the Catrons, three generations of whom were among the 7,315 attending Reunion Homecoming October 21-24. Sixtieth-reunion celebrants Tom and June (Ellis), both ’44, looked forward to a bus tour of campus and their class party; their son Fletcher, ’69, and his wife, Diane (Luttner, ’70), to Classes Without Quizzes; and Fletcher and Diane’s son, Tom, ’99, and his wife, Janette (Innes, ’98), to the Burbank minireunion. All three couples met on the Farm: Tom and June in English 5: Beowulf to Chaucer; Fletcher and Diane at the introduction of a mutual friend; and Tom and Janette on the first day of Orientation. Perhaps they could have provided advice to those attending a new event—the Singles Shuffle.
