Fellowships

Early Career Fellow, Environmental DNA: The Postdoctoral Scholar / Early Career Fellow (ECF) will be responsible for leading the environmental DNA (eDNA) aspects of the Marine Biodiversity Observing Network (MBON) project at the Center for Ocean Solutions. 

Early Career Law and Policy Fellow:The Early Career Law & Policy Fellow will be responsible for applied legal research in a variety of subject areas including fisheries management and policy; international ocean law frameworks; and integrated coastal zone management. Specifically, the Fellow will engage with national, state, and local coastal planners to prioritize statewide strategies that reduce the vulnerability of coastal California resources to climate impacts. 

 

Internships

Coastal GIS Intern: The Center for Ocean Solutions is seeking a Coastal GIS Intern to support coastal vulnerability modeling across the state of California using the InVEST tool from the Natural Capital Project. This part-time, six month internship will connect a Masters-level student or recent graduate with an excellent opportunity to work on applied, policy-relevant spatial data management and analysis.
