Students are expected to pursue projects that will take on the order of 2 to 4 months to complete. The maximum funding available for a 2-month project (i.e. most summer projects) is $4,000. Projects lasting 3 months may be funded up to a maximum of $5,500 and those lasting 4 months up to $7,000.

Please note that this program is not intended to fund summer language studies. If you are a Stanford undergrad interested in pursuing such studies, contact Denise Winters (denisew1@stanford.edu), Undergraduate Student Services Specialist in the Division of Literatures, Cultures and Languages for more information on the DLCL Summer Funding Application.
