About Faculty Staff Housing

Welcome to Faculty Staff Housing, a division of the Office of the Provost. Our office administers Stanford's housing programs for both purchase and rental for eligible faculty, executive level Staff and Clinician Educators. For eligibility criteria click on Housing Purchase Programs Eligibility Criteria or Rental Housing Programs Eligibility Criteria. We also provide ongoing service to the campus residential community.

What We Do:

  • Develop and administer housing programs
  • Assist you in estimating how much of a house you can afford
  • Facilitate transfers of campus residential properties
  • Administer the campus residential lease program
  • Oversee rental housing programs

What We Don't Do:

  • Administer student housing
  • Serve as a real estate agent
  • Show houses to prospective buyers
  • Provide financial, legal, or tax advice
  • List off-campus homes for sale or rent

Faculty Staff Housing Fees: Many services are provided free of charge. For the others, this schedule shows the current transaction fees.
