Benefits

Corporate Progam Members of the Center for the Advancement of Women’s Leadership have access to:

Member Meetings: Members meet in person twice annually with leadership from the Center for the Advancement of Women’s Leadership and top scholars in the field. In a typical year, one meeting will include seats at a forum where other experts are invited to share in a generative dialogue. The second meeting will be in an intimate setting, inviting candid conversations and the exchange of ideas, challenges and best practices on topics of women’s leadership, engaging men and creating effective organizations.

Research and Publications: Members are provided thought-provoking, leading edge research and conversations with the researchers. Corporate Program members will help focus the Center’s future research efforts to deliver maximum impact in addressing the real issues facing women in organizations.

Broadscale Education and Webinars: Members will gain access to online education modules for women’s executive education, and in some instances, will be able to contribute to the development of the modules by providing real world practical experiences and advice. When appropriate, members may be invited to participate in creating new educational modules. As new material is rolled out, employees at Member organizations will be invited to participate in webinars.

Regular Newsletters: An online newsletter will provide summaries of relevant research, programming and education.

Affiliation: Corporate Program member organizations can state that they are members in materials, with approval of the program administration.

Invitations to Events on the Stanford Campus: Members will receive invitations to meet with participants of the in-person leadership programs on the Stanford campus; participants include undergraduate women, graduate students and women faculty.  Additionally, members will be invited to attend on campus speaker events. In the past, these events have included or will include the Jing Lyman Lecture Series featuring Sheryl Sandberg (April 2013) and Gloria Steinem (2012), Barnard College President Deborah Spar (Fall 2013), and Filmmaker Jennifer Siebel Newsom (2012).

 Membership

Membership to the Corporate Program will be open on a rolling basis. Annual dues are $15,000*, which permits two representatives from each member company to participate in meetings. Membership fees help fund faculty and student research activities, public educational materials, and collaborative meetings.
