- The Career Development Center (CDC) is ready to help you when you need career guidance, interviewing tips, resume writing strategies, networking advice and much more.
Children and Families
- WorkLife Office: helps students, faculty, and staff reach a comfortable balance in their work, study, personal and family lives. Their services focus on child care and the child care subsidy grant, emergency and back-up child care options, elder care, parent education and work/life issues.
- Stanford Parent-Net Mailing List: As a member of this mailing list, you can post or receive information about child care, parenting advice and tips, playgroups, items for sale and family events and outings.
Community Standards
- The Office of Community Standards is responsible for the student judicial process at Stanford. The office adjudicates cases related to possible student violations of Stanford’s community standards, including the Honor Code and the Fundamental Standard.
Dispute Resolution and Legal Issues
- Ombuds Office: a confidential resource for students, faculty and staff who need help resolving questions, concerns, disputes or complaints. The Ombuds is a neutral, impartial and independent office responsible for protecting the interests and rights of members of the Stanford community.
- Legal Counseling Office (LCO): provides free, confidential legal advice and consultation to students at no cost. The LCO gives preliminary advice so that students may be better able to understand the law and seek counseling if necessary.
Financial and Administrative Support and Assistance
Health and Counseling Resources
- The Bridge Peer Counseling Center offers confidential counseling 24 hours/day by phone or in person. Counselors are trained students and services are free and completely confidential.
- Stanford Health Library is free, open to the public and offers consumer health information designed to help you make informed decisions about health and health care.
- Stanford University Emergency Medical Team (StEMS) is a group of certified EMT-basics who are available to provide standby emergency medical assistance at campus events.
- Vaden Health Center, located on campus, has medical services, a pharmacy and a counseling center open to students.
- Vaden also maintains a list of health insurance resources.
- Health Promotion Services (HPS) sponsors wellness classes, workshops and seminars, as well as individual consultations, focused on helping students enjoy a healthy quality of life.
- Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) counsels students with personal, academic and relationship concerns through short-term individual or group sessions (including couples counseling).
- Notalone.stanford.edu provides resources related to sexual assault.

Student Housing manages all on campus graduate housing.

- The Bechtel International Center offers a variety of services and programs dedicated to enhancing the lives of Stanford’s graduate student population and easing the transition to what may be a new and different culture for students and their families.
Safety
- Stanford’s Department of Public Safety provides law enforcement, security, safety, crime prevention and emergency services 24 hours a day from its office on campus.
