GPC Membership

The Global Projects Center's Industrial Affiliate Program creates value for organizations engaged in financing, developing, building, operating or investing in long term infrastructure projects and other capital assets globally through research, education, networking and outreach.

There are a variety of benefits available to members of the GPC, such as facilitated recruiting of students, member bulletins, issues in brief, access to technical reports, attendance at private seminars, and, in certain circumstances, mini-internships, visiting fellowship programs, and opportunities to sit on the Board of Advisors or have GPC staff come out for site visits.

Abo Akademi University

With a specific focus on project business and industrial marketing at Abo Akademi Univesity, the Department of Chemical Engineering focuses on value creation and industrial logic and business models in industrial investments and project-based firms and organizational design in large projects. 

Alaska Permanent Fund

The Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation (APFC) is a state-owned corporation, based in Juneau, that manages the assets of the Alaska Permanent Fund and other funds designated by law. The APFC uses both internal staff and external money managers in managing the Fund's asset classes.

Alberta Investment Management Co.

Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo) is one of Canada’s largest and most diversified institutional investment fund managers, with an investment portfolio of approximately $70 billion. We invest globally on behalf of our clients, 28 pension, endowment and government funds in the Province of Alberta.

Anbaric

Anbaric is a project development company located near Boston, MA that specializes in early stage development of large-scale electric transmission systems and small, medium and large scale microgrid projects.

APG

APG carries out collective pension schemes in the Netherlands for participants in the education, government, and construction sectors, cleaning and window-cleaning companies, housing corporations and energy and utility companies as well as social or sheltered employment. APG manages pension assets of in total approximately 337 billion euros (September 2013) for these sectors. APG works for over 30,000 employers and provides for the income of around 4.5 million participants and administrates over 30% of all collective pension schemes in the Netherlands.

Arup

Founded in 1946 with an initial focus on structural engineering, Arup first came to the world’s attention with the structural design of the Sydney Opera House, followed by its work on the Centre Pompidou in Paris. Arup has since grown into a truly multidisciplinary organisation. Most recently, its work for the 2008 Olympics in Beijing has reaffirmed its reputation for delivering innovative and sustainable designs that reinvent the built environment.

Australian Future Fund

The Australian Future Fund was established by the Future Fund Act of 2006. The object of the fund is to strengthen the Australian Government's long term financial position by making provision for unfunded Commonwealth superannuation liabilities.

AustralianSuper

AustralianSuper is one of Australia’s largest industry superannuation funds with $65 billion in funds under management. AustralianSuper is focused on building a portfolio of core infrastructure assets predominantly in the regulated utilities, transport and contracted sectors. 

BC Immigrant Investment Fund

The BC Immigrant Investment Fund Ltd. was incorporated on September 19, 2000 under the Company Act of British Columbia and is wholly owned by the Province of British Columbia. The Corporation is an approved fund under the federal Immigrant Investor Program, administered by Citizenship and Immigration Canada. The BCIIF receives and manages the provincial allocation of funds under the Program. The Program confers discretion on the provinces to manage their allocation of the Program’s immigrant investor funds for investment in economic development and job creation.

DOT - Office of Public-Private Partnerships

The Virginia Department of Transportation Office of Public-Private Partnerships is responsible for developing and implementing a statewide program for project delivery via the Public-Private Transportation Act (PPTA) of 1995. The Virginia P3 office works in conjunction with the Secretary of Transportation, Virginia Department of Transportation, Department of Rail and Public Transportation, Department of Aviation, Department of Motor Vehicles, Commercial Space Flight Authority, and the Virginia Port Authority and focuses on the development of public-private projects across all modes of transportation.

Euromoney Institutional Investor

Euromoney Institutional Investor PLC is an international business-to-business information and events group listed on the London Stock Exchange, with 2,300 employees worldwide and a portfolio of over 50 specialist businesses spanning macroeconomic data, investment research, news and market analysis, industry forums and institutes, financial training and excellence awards.

Ireland Strategic Investment Fund

In 2013 the Ireland Strategic Investment Fund (ISIF) was created  by reorienting the National Pensions Reserve Fund and making the €6.4 billion in the Fund’s discretionary portfolio available for commercial investment in Ireland. The ISIF will develop a clear Investment strategy which will deliver investment in areas of strategic importance to Ireland particularly in areas that support economic growth and job creation in the years ahead. The fund will seek to recycle its capital investments over time so as to be in a position to make new investments in line with its mandate. The Fund’s investment strategy will be consistent with Government’s policy objectives.

National Treasury Management Agency

The National Treasury Management Agency provides a range of asset and liability management services to Government. These services include borrowing on behalf of the Government and management of the National Debt, the State Claims Agency, NewERA, the Ireland Strategic Investment Fund and the National Development Finance Agency.  It also assigns staff and provides business and support services and systems to the National Asset Management Agency and the Strategic Banking Corporation of Ireland.

New Zealand Superannuation Fund

The New Zealand Superannuation Fund invests money, on behalf of the Government, to help pay for the increased cost of superannuation entitlements in the future. By doing this the Fund adds to Crown wealth, improves the ability of future Governments to pay for National Superannuation, and ultimately reduces the tax burden on future New Zealanders of the cost of superannuation. A long-term, growth-oriented investor, the Fund has more than $23 billion in assets, including $3.5 billion* invested in New Zealand.The Fund is managed by a Crown Entity, the Guardians of New Zealand Superannuation.
