A More Structured Alternative to Elementary Education in the Palo Alto Unified School District (PAUSD).

Herbert Hoover Elementary School places primary emphasis on a core curriculum, stressing basic academic skills and good study habits. The school seeks to build within each child a sense of responsibility, confidence, pride in accomplishment, and a positive self-image through academic achievement. Toward this end, the school provides the quiet and orderly environment many children need to learn.

Join Hoover's SchoolPool Pilot!!!

Our SchoolPool pilot is up and running! If you are interested in carpooling, walk-pooling, or bike-pooling to Hoover, please click the link below. Once you enter your information you will be vetted as a Hoover parent, then you will be allowed into the site where you will have access to other Hoover families in your neighborhood who are interested in pooling to school. Your information will remain private, it’s a great way to connect to other Hoover families who want to car, bike, or walk-pool, plus it’s a great way to reduce traffic and help the planet!
