From Highway 101
U.S. 101 take the University Avenue exit west toward Stanford; you will drive through downtown Palo Alto, go under the overpass and over El Camino Real (the Peninsula's main drag), and - you're on campus. Continue on (now) Palm Drive to Arboretum Road, and turn right. Drive till Arboretum dead-ends at Sand Hill Road Rd and turn left. Go left at the next light - Pasteur Drive, where you'll turn left and drive to Blake Wilbur. Turn left and park in the 2-story parking garage ahead of you on the right. (I will give you a parking voucher to use at the end of the day). Walk to the exit on the hospital side of the entrance of the garage. Enter hospital through double doors at end of walkway. (You will see the cafeteria as you enter hospital). Turn left in the main corridor and walk down to the elevators by Patient Unit F1 (past units D1 and E1). Take elevator to the 3rd floor. Exit elevator to your right and up the 12 stairs marked "Vascular" on the overhead sign. Turn right at the first intersecting hallway and the conference room will be on your right, room H3565.
From Highway 280
Interstate 280 take the Sand Hill Road exit east towards Palo Alto. You'll go through several stop signs and through a major intersection at Santa Cruz Ave/Alpine Road. When you come to Pasteur Drive turn right and drive to Blake Wilbur. Turn left and park in the 2-story parking garage ahead of you on the right. Taking the train
Get off at the University and Alma Street station (downtown Palo Alto). After departing the train, pick up the (free) shuttle called the Marguerite Line A (red & white bus). It will take you right to the medical center. Depart the bus at the Emergency Room drop off. Enter hospital at the Emergency Room entrance. Turn right and walk to the end of hallway (rather long walk). At end of hallway turn left. Within a few steps you will see an elevator to your right. Take it to the 3rd floor. Exit elevator to your left and enter Room H3583 (1 st door on your left).
From the Cardinal Hotel
If you are coming out of the public parking structure on corner Hamilton & Emerson, continue straight on Emerson crossing Hamilton Ave. and turn left onUniversity Ave. This will take you under the overpass and put you onto campus where University Ave. now becomes Palm Drive. Continue on Palm Drive and turn right on Arboretum Road. Drive till Arboretum dead-ends atSand Hill Road and turn left. Up Sand Hill Rd andturn left at Pasteur Drive.
