Early music ensemble performs tonight

At 8 p.m. tonight in Memorial Church, the ensemble Anonymous 4 will sing a program of Secret Voices: The Sisters of Las Huelgas Music of 13th-Century Spain. Its performance follows Monday night's "chant camp," in which 50 novice and experienced participants chanted ancient songs.

Stanford aims to win PAC-10 Fitness Challenge

  • Police point out Amherst Avenue crime: The Stanford Department of Public Safety wants the campus community to know about a home invasion robbery on nearby Amherst Avenue in the College Terrace neighborhood. The Palo Alto Police are handling the investigation.
  • IT Services fall courses: Fall quarter registration is now open for IT Services technology training classes.
  • Correction: An Oct. 20 article about the memorial service for Kai Lai Chung, professor emeritus of mathematics, incorrectly identified his specialty. Chung specialized in probability.
