Scheduled Monthly Payments Available in ePay

We are pleased to let you know that you can set up Stanford ePay for scheduled monthly payments. You may find this functionality useful for paying your monthly health care premium charges on your University bill.

Your bill can be viewed by logging into ePay via the Axess homepage. Go to http://axess.stanford.edu, click on the Stanford ePay link under ‘Quicklinks’ on the left side of the homepage; click ‘View Accounts’ and then ‘University Bill’ from the left navigation bar. Outstanding balances will be displayed by term. Detailed information regarding your postdoc insurance premium charges can be viewed by clicking on the Term directly.

To set up a monthly payment, go to Stanford ePay via the link on the Axess home page. Then,
• Choose ‘Scheduled Payments’ from the navigation bar on the left
• Click the ‘Schedule new payment series’ button
• Enter the payment information into the fields prompted and click ‘Continue’
• Enter the appropriate banking information into the fields prompted and click ‘Continue’
• After verifying the accuracy of the information input, click ‘Confirm’
• A receipt will display. Click the ‘Print’ icon on the upper right if you want a hard copy.

NOTE: Please be aware that payments made to University accounts are allocated to the oldest charges first. So, please continue to review your University bill monthly and pay any amounts owing that will not be covered by the scheduled payment. Otherwise, the scheduled payment may pay another outstanding charge and not the health insurance premium charge.

If you notice that your account has any outstanding Graduate Tuition or Medical Tuition charges, please contact your department administrator for review. For School of Medicine scholars, this fee will be paid on your behalf by the Dean; for other schools, departments, the registration fee will be paid by the faculty mentor or department.
