4-Star Rating for Florence Moore Dining Hall

Florence Moore Dining Hall, which recently underwent a complete renovation featuring energy and water efficient equipment, has been awarded the highest certification (four stars) by the Green Restaurant Association. Stanford is only the third university in the nation to receive this elite rating. The Green Restaurant Association standards cover water efficiency, waste reduction and recycling, sustainable building materials and furniture, sustainable food, energy, reusables, and chemical and pollution reduction.
