Revs Students Award Trophy at 2016 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance

Stanford students awarded their historical significance trophy to the 1901 Panhard et Levassor Type B1 Race Car Chassis 2866 at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance on August 21, 2016. The students were enrolled in ME200, 'Understanding Historical Significance of the Automobile,' a now legendary class taught in the Spring quarter by David Kelley, Reilly Brennan and Jon Feiber.

On October 20th at Stanford's Automotive Innovation Facility, Prof Chris Gerdes and a team of students unveiled MARTY, Stanford's self-driving, electric, drifting DeLorean.

Stanford Students Award 2014 Revs Program at Stanford Award During Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance

After Stanford's ME200 students did their final round of judging -- a process that started in May during Spring term and finished this Sunday at Pebble Beach -- one car stood atop them all: The 1957 Ferrari Testa Rossa 0704 owned by Thomas Hartley, Jr., of Derbyshire, United Kingdom. The students presented the trophy on the stage during Sunday's 64th Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance.
