Electrophysiology and Arrhythmia

Understanding your child’s irregular heartbeat, or arrhythmia, is our first step to developing a therapy or treatment to meet your child’s individual needs. Our electrophysiology team uses gentle, state-of-the-art echocardiography and advanced catheterization to evaluate arrhythmias in children of all ages — even those still developing in utero. Advanced diagnostic methods, such as 3-D imaging, help us determine the cause of your child’s arrhythmia with high accuracy.

We offer a range of treatment options, from stress-reduction to ablation to pacemakers. And to make monitoring your child even easier, we offer transtelephonic monitoring, allowing you to record your child’s heart rhythm and provide it to your physician from the comfort of your home.

We provide:

  • Pediatric echocardiograms
  • Pediatric Event (arrhythmia) monitoring
  • Pediatric Holter monitoring
  • Pacemaker implantation and monitoring
  • ICD implantation and monitoring
  • Electrophysiologic studies
  • Arrhythmia ablation
