Committee on Undergraduate Standards and Policy (C-USP)

C-USP is charged by the Faculty Senate to formulate policy governing the substance and process of undergraduate education at Stanford. This includes areas such as degree requirements, transfer credit, General Education Requirements, and the academic calendar.

C-USP also receives annual reports from the following organizations:

  • BGB: Breadth Governance Board

  • BOSP: Bing Overseas Studies Program

  • UAR: Undergraduate Advising and Research

  • PWR: Program in Writing and Rhetoric

  • The Language Center

  • The Rhodes-Marshall-Churchill Committee.
