Resources: Requesting Oracle Access for Non-Employee Students, Hospital Employees & Temporary Employees

Departments may request Oracle access for non-employee students who need to perform work in the Oracle Financials system. Medical School departments may also request access for Hospital employees. Temporary employees with sponsored SUNet ID's are able to access the system just as regular employees do.

Requesting Oracle Access for Non-Employee Students

Students who are not officially University employees require special authorization in order to gain access to the Oracle Financial system.

By completing this request, non-employee students will have access to the basic Oracle Financials modules open to all employees. These modules include Internet Procurement and iJournals.

In order to gain access to other modules of the Oracle Financials system, certain requirements must be satisfied before system access is enabled. To view requirements by Oracle module, reference Overview: Authority to Originate Financial Transactions.

Requesting Oracle Access for Hospital Employees

Oracle access for Hospital employees must be requested by the related School of Medicine department's Director of Finance and Administration (DFA).

The Hospital employee's access should be established within 24 – 48 hours. The Hospital employee will have access to the basic Oracle Financials modules open to all employees. These modules include Internet Procurement and iJournals.
