Fourth of July Fireworks Specials

Caltrain will operate four extra southbound trains out of San Francisco for those attending the Independence Day fireworks along the waterfront.  Trains will depart as scheduled or when full: 11 p.m. express to San Carlos (then local to San Jose Diridon), 11:20 p.m., 11:40 p.m. and midnight locals to San Jose Diridon.

Train tickets: One-way tickets or Day passes may be purchased at the ticket machines at stations before boarding. Customers using their Clipper^® card (8-ride and e-cash) must remember to tag on before boarding and tag off at their destination station. Customers with a Caltrain Monthly Pass can travel through all zones on holidays and weekends.  Caltrain is a Proof-of-Payment system; customers without valid tickets are subject to citation.

Alcohol reminder: Open alcoholic beverages are prohibited on trains departing San Francisco beginning at 9 p.m. on special event evenings.
