Field & Tennis Court Reservations

The City of Palo Alto brokers all City athletic fields, tennis courts and Palo Alto Unified School District school fields.  Tennis courts are available for reservation for Palo Alto Tennis Club and USTA tournament use only, otherwise courts are on a first come, first serve basis.  To check availability, visit EnjoyOnline!

To reserve space for any of the City of Palo Alto’s athletic fields, please submit a Field Request Form to the Fields Coordinator at least 10 business days before your requested date.

Once we have processed your Field Request Form, and if we are able to find an available athletic field, you will be asked to provide the following:

• Certificate of Insurance showing general liability coverage in the amount of $1,000,000 or more naming the City of Palo Alto as additional insured.
• Payment of $100 refundable damage deposit which will be returned provided the field is free of damage, trash, etc, from your use.
• Payment of hourly use rate which can be found on the Field Request Form.

Field Availability Cheat Sheet

In order to find an available field on a particular day, please follow the steps below:

• Visit EnjoyOnline! 
• Click the "Facilities" Tab at the top of the page
• Scroll down and click "Facility Availability Search"
• On the "Complex Page", hit "Next"
• On the next page under "Function", select "Field Rental" and hit "Next"
• On the next page, fill in the specific times/days you are looking for and hit "Search"
• This will bring up all of your search results. From here you can…
• Click on the Field itself and it will show you the address of the field and a button to click for a monthly calendar
• If you select the monthly calendar, you can click a specific day to see the exact schedule of use
• If you find something that fits your needs, call the Fields Coordinator at 329-2192 to reserve it.

Please note that while this should be the most up to date at all times, there may be pending bookings at any point in time.
