Flipster and Zinio for Libraries are subscription digital magazine services available free with your library card.
Each service offers different titles for library cardholders.
Library cardholders get free access to complete digital magazines, including full-color pictures, keyword searching, and interactive elements such as audio & video.

  • Browse for magazines right inside the Flipster and Zinio for Libraries websites or search for titles in the library catalog.
  • Read online in your web browser.
  • Download into each service's free app for offline reading on your tablet or smartphone.
  • Back issues are available.

Flipster

Flipster: The magazines you know and love, available digitally
  • Free Access - Complete Digital Magazines available with your library card.
  • Unlimited Access - All magazine issues in the collection available anytime.
  • No late fees - Digital magazines in this collection never need to be returned.
Get Started

You will first find and checkout library magazines in the Flipster website, then read online in your web browser or download & read in the Flipster app.

To check out additional magazines from your library, toggle back in your browser to your library collection page. All checkouts are completed in a browser.
The apps are for READING ONLY.

  1. Find magazines in the Flipster website.  Your library card gives you access to the site.
  2. Click "Read This Issue" to checkout and open the magazine.
  3. Read online inside your web browser.
  4. Download into free Flipster app on your tablet (iPad/iPhone/Android/Kindle Fire) for offline reading.

Note: Some publishers set expiration dates for their magazines.

  • Some weekly magazines expire after 3 days.
  • Some monthly magazines expire after 7 days.
  • Expired magazine titles can be checked out again from the Flipster website.

Zinio for Libraries

  • Free Access - Complete Digital Magazines available with your library card and Zinio accounts.
  • Unlimited Access - All magazine issues in the collection available anytime.
  • No due dates, no late fees - Digital magazines in this collection never expire nor need to be returned.

Get Started

You will first find and checkout library magazines in the Zinio for Libraries website, then read online in your web browser or download & read in the Zinio for Libraries app.

To check out additional magazines from your library, toggle back in your browser to your library collection page. All checkouts are completed in a browser.
The apps are for READING ONLY.

  1. Browse the digital magazine collection in the Zinio for Libraries Gateway website from RBdigital.
    Your library card (full 14 digits) gets you in!
  2. Create or login with Zinio for Libraries (RBdigital) account.

  3. Check out digital magazines through the Zinio for Libraries Gateway website.
  4. Read your magazine online streaming in your web browser on a PC/Mac OR download & read in the free Zinio for Libraries app for iPad/iPhone & Android available from your app store.

App also available for  Kindle Fire™/Fire™ HD:

The Kindle Fire HD/HDX app is not currently available through their app store, so you will be required to load the app from outside the app store. Follow this link on your device: http://imgs.zinio.com/faq/kindlefire.html

You will also need a Zinio.com account using the same email address as your Zinio for Libraries (RBdigital) account.

Zinio for Libraries app for Kindle Fire™/Fire™ HD are scheduled for 2015 at which time there would be no need to visit the zinio.com commercial site.

Keep in mind that your commercial app collection may contain materials not associated with your library collection.
