Industrial/Commercial/Institutional Boilers and Process Heaters
Announcements:
- 12/01/14: EPA proposes reconsideration of, and requests public comment on, clean air standards for industrial boilers, and certain incinerators. This reconsideration affects the air toxic standards that limit air pollutant emissions from large (major) industrial, commercial, and institutional boilers and process heaters and small (area) industrial, commercial, and institutional boilers; and commercial and industrial solid waste incineration (CISWI) units.
- 03/04/14: EPA is no longer accepting paper submittals of the Notification of Compliance Status (NOCS) for Energy Assessments for area source boilers. We now require the NOCS to be submitted electronically to the Compliance and Emissions Data Reporting Interface (CEDRI). For further information, please see implementation videos below.
- 08/22/13: EPA will be granting petitions for reconsideration for certain issues on the NESHAPs for both Major and Area Source Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional Boilers in an upcoming Federal Register notice.
