Cardinal to compete in championship fours event Sunday

2010-11: Named to Pac-10 All-Academic first team ... rowed 3-seat in the varsity 8 that took eighth at the IRA ... placed second in the Copley Cup at the San Diego Crew Classic.

2009-2010: Rowed 4-seat in the varsity 8 that placed 14th at the IRA ... named to the Pac-10 All-Academic First Team.

2008-09: Rowed 7-seat in the Frosh 8 that placed 10th at the IRA ... second place in the Frosh 8+ at the 2008 Newport Fall Regatta.

High School: Two-year member of Abingdon's First 8 ... won bronze medals at the National Schools Regatta in 2006 and 2008 ... played rugby and rowed ... invited to the British Junior National Team Selection Camp in 2007 ... twice raced in his high school's varsity 8+ at Henley Royal Regatta.

Personal: U.S./U.K. dual citizen, originally from Indiana ... favorite thing about Stanford rowing "Being able to row and get a tan at the same time all year round" ... has three siblings, Will, Calvin, Claire ... parents are Eric and Donna.
