BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – Jamie Neushul fired home two fourth-quarter goals as part of her eighth hat trick of the season and No. 3 Stanford outscored No. 23 CSU Bakersfield by five in the second half to beat the Roadrunners on Saturday afternoon, 12-5.

Katie Dudley and Gurpreet Sohi added multi-goal efforts for the Cardinal while Julia Hermann made seven saves in the cage. Stanford (17-2, 3-0) extended its MPSF regular-season win streak to 42 and will be at home for three of its final four games before the MPSF Tournament begins back in Bakersfield on April 29.

Stanford scored the game's first five before CSUB answered with three straight to pull within two at halftime. It was all Cardinal coming out of the break as Dani Jackovich got things going for Stanford with her 21st goal of the season at the 7:39 mark of the third quarter. Sohi converted a penalty at 4:12 and Madison Berggren scored for the fourth straight game when she put hers home with eight seconds remaining in the period.

Sohi led things off for Stanford in the fourth at 5:13 and Neushul followed with goals at 4:30 and 1:52 to up her team-leading total to 36 this season. Anna Yelizarova capped off Stanford's second-half scoring barrage with six seconds remaining in the contest.

The Cardinal jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first quarter behind a pair of goals from Katie Dudley and one each from Neushul and Kat Klass. Shannon Cleary scored Stanford's lone second-quarter goal with 5:42 on the clock, but the Runners trio of Kristen Jensen, Nicola Barrett and Jada Helberg went on a run of three straight to tighten the game at halftime, 5-3.
