Become an NIJ Research Assistant
One of my high-priority goals is supporting the research activities of new and emerging scholars from a variety of disciplines.
– Nancy Rodriguez
Our Research Assistantship Program supports students across a range of study areas relevant to crime and justice. Research assistants work side-by-side with NIJ scientists to gain practical and applied research experience.
The Research Assistantship Program is made possible by partnerships between NIJ and participating universities. Universities nominate enrolled students and form an agreement with NIJ for funding.
Application deadline: January 29, 2016.
