ReNUWIt Graduate Students
Graduate students are the heart of ReNUWIt. Our students receive an interdisciplinary, technically rich education while conducting independent research in our three research thrust areas. We emphasize system-level approaches, collaboration, and innovation/entrepreneurship . Our students mentor undergraduates, teachers, community college students, and high school students, and contribute to ReNUWIt’s Pre-College and Public Education programs. They also organize a seminar series and sponsor student travel and events through Students for Urban Water Infrastructure Reinvention (SUWIR), ReNUWIt’s Student Leadership Council.
If you are interested in pursuing a graduate degree with ReNUWIt, you must apply to the graduate program at one of our four campuses.

ReNUWIt Undergraduates
Undergraduate research is a key part of ReNUWIt. Many ReNUWIt faculty hire undergraduate research assistants during the academic year and summer. These students work alongside graduate students and post-docs on projects in our three research thrust areas. We encourage motivated and interested students on ReNUWIt campuses to talk with individual faculty members about openings in their labs.

REU Program
ReNUWIt offers our summer Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) Program on all four campuses. REUs spend 9-10 weeks immersed in a mentored research project in ReNUWIt labs, and participate in professional development and social activities. The program includes stipend, housing, travel, and a 3-day all-ReNUWIt REU meeting at Stanford.
2015 Program Deadline: February 15, 2015

SCCORE Program
The Summer Community College Opportunity for Research Experience (SCCORE) Program is offered at NMSU. The SCCORE Program provides a mentored research experience for community college students and helps prepare students for transfer to a four-year university. It is sponsored by the New Mexico Alliance for Minority Participation (New Mexico AMP).
