David Cornfield, MD

  • “I love helping children achieve their fullest potential.”

My father was a physician; I spent a lot of time by his side, going on house calls and visiting the hospital with him. The good he brought into the world and the healing power he possessed left a tremendous impression on me. I knew it was a worthy way to spend my life. I chose pediatrics because I enjoy being around children; they're so resilient and have an amazing spirit.

What I love about my work is helping children achieve their fullest potential, overcome relatively long odds, and move from illness to health. As a physician, it's really important to be absolutely accountable. I address the problem as definitively as possible, and promise to give everyone the individual, personalized compassionate care they deserve.

I like working at this hospital, because there is a caring grace that permeates the air here. Everyone is focused firmly and squarely on children and their families. We do whatever it takes to provide the very best in care.
