I double majored in computer and electrical engineering. If it wasn't for profitability sake I would've majored in art history or something similar. I don't know what about my baby when he was born that made me change my mind about bein a sahm. I just felt that I needed more time at home, and to be honest the sleep deprivation might of swayed that decision as well. It was nice to be home for subsequent pregnancies as well and not to worry about falling asleep at 2pm meetings lol. [ Reply | More ]

analyst here...a long time ago me and my friends came up with the wedding-cost-vs-how-long-will-your-marriage-last formula. it's 50000 divided by the amount you spent on your wedding. if you spent $20000, your marriage will last 2.5 years. if you spent $2000 your marriage will last 25 years. among most people i know, the more you spend the shorter you last. and i say this as a twice-divorced person whose parents paid for two lavish weddings. no sour grapes here but i think people who spend so much on a big stupid party don't have the right mind set for maintaining a long-term marriage.
