Trojans land two of the nation's 32 Marshall Scholarships
One will study water resource issues and geochemistry. The other will take a year off medical school to study public health. Both Moriah Munroe, a USC Dornsife senior, and USC Dornsife alumna Anu Ramachandran will soon head to the U.K. as Marshall Scholars.

USC’s Dana Gioia named California Poet Laureate
During his two-year term, the USC professor of poetry and public culture will provide public readings in classrooms, board rooms and other places. The position was created in 2001 to inspire an appreciation for the art of poetry throughout the state.
