Bio

Ari Santillan is the editor of TheCityFix Mexico and responsible for editorial coordination of publications made by EMBARQ Mexico. His goal is to position the blog from the public interested in issues of cities as one of the best sources of information with high quality standards through stories that can be read and understood by anyone (expert or not).

Previously, he worked on different sources of information such as culture, football, business and rock music; has experience in online and print journalism, besides having experience in digital media (radio, video and social networks).

His greatest strengths are narrative journalism and editorial review. He studied at the Escuela de Periodismo Carlos Septién and plans to study a degree in urban planning to obtain the academic resources for his work in the WRI Ross Center for Sustainable Cities. He is convinced of the need to create human scale cities, discourage car use and reduce carbon footprint. In addition, he have enormous respect for the urban activism. He found his “dream job” in EMBARQ Mexico.
