Bio

Brenda Medeiros is the Urban Mobility Director of WRI Brasil Sustainable Cities, with a focus on the promotion and implementation of sustainable transportation in cities. Among her areas of expertise are the promotion of high quality public transportation services, inclusion of road safety in infrastructure projects and bus operation, project management and implementation of bus rapid transit (BRT) systems.

She holds a PhD on public transportation regulation from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), as well as a master's degree in Transportation Engineering and a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the same university.
