Bio

Daniel Cruise is a Corporate Vice President of Arconic and heads the company's European and Asia Pacific regions. He is a member of the Executive Council and an Officer of the Company. Arconic is a global leader in multi-material precision engineered products and solutions for major markets including, airframes structures, aero engines, automotive, commercial transportation, and building and construction.

As head of Europe and Asia, Cruise is responsible for coordinating the company's growth and productivity initiatives across 18 countries, 102 locations, representing over 11,000 employees. Reporting to the Chairman and CEO, he also oversees Arconic's Global Government & Public Affairs practice.

Cruise joined Alcoa Inc. in October 2009, prior to its 2016 separation into two publicly traded companies. Previously, Cruise was Managing Director of the Albright Stonebridge Group, a global business advisory group. He also served in the White House under President Clinton as Assistant Press Secretary for Foreign Affairs and was on the staff of the National Security Council. He started his career working for JP Morgan & Co.

Cruise is a member of the Board of Directors of the World Resource Institute, the National Association of Manufacturers, the National Security Initiative, the Business Council for International Understanding, the National Committee for U.S.-China Relations, the U.S.-Russia Business Council, the Arconic Foundation and the Lycee Francais de New York. He is a life member of the Council on Foreign Relations and was recognized in 2011 by the World Economic Forum as a Young Global Leader.

Cruise is a graduate of Brown University and the University of Cambridge. He lives in New York City and has three children.
