Road Safety Coordinator, WRI Brasil Sustainable Cities

Bio

Marta Obelheiro is the Road Safety Coordinator at WRI Brasil, with a focus on public transportation, urban development and traffic safety projects.

She is currently involved in supporting efforts related to planning, development and implementation of sustainable transportation projects in Brazilian cities, including road safety concepts and best practices in infrastructure projects and bus operation.

Marta holds a Master's degree in transportation from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). She is currently a PhD student focused on road safety at the same university.
