Bio

Ruijuan Li is a Research Assistant of China Water Program of the World Resources Institute (WRI) China Office. She joined WRI in November 2016 to support the urban water-energy nexus projects, including the waste-to-energy, water-energy nexus KPI method, and etc.

Prior to joining WRI, Ruijuan has been served as a group lead at Policy Research Center for Environment and Economy (PRCEE) of the Ministry of Environmental Protection to support the U.S.-China Environmental Cooperation, and a Research Assistant at the School of Environment of Tsinghua University. Her professional experience includes environmental science and environmental policy, specifically in circular economy, comparative study on international environmental policies and etc.

Ruijuan has a M.S. degree in Environmental Science from Graduate University of Chinese Academy of Science (Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences) and a B.A. degree in Environmental Engineering from North China Electric Power University.
