Shreyan Sen

Schneider Fellow

Bio

Shreyan is a Schneider Fellow and intern for the Water Program. Leveraging a novel satellite-based methodology, he uses data analytics and statistical modeling to predict water risks to the Indian energy sector. He is proficient in the R programming language.

Shreyan previously served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Republic of Guinea. He taught physics and was involved in several girls’ education and food security projects. He also served as a member of the PC Guinea grants committee and food security task force.

Shreyan is a current M.S. candidate in Civil & Environmental Engineering at Stanford University, and holds a B.S. in Physics from Duke University. His current coursework focuses heavily on statistics.

Shreyan enjoys meditation and running. On weekends, he enjoys hiking and night photography.
