WRI works with businesses, governments, and researchers of all kinds to ensure that technologies to provide low-carbon energy effectively, efficiently, and inexpensively are available and deployed around the world.

A variety of technologies, including wind power and solar power, exist today to provide low-cost, low-carbon power to nations and communities of all sizes, and a variety of policies and incentives can make renewable energy both effective and economical everywhere. WRI works to help stakeholders navigate the technical, financial, and policy issues surrounding renewable energy and energy efficiency, and promote those actions that make clean power available to everyone.
