How To: Set My Allocation Preferences

Before You Start

It is recommended that you create and save your Allocation preferences for Expense Requests in My Allocations before creating your first transaction.

Create an Allocation Set for PTAs you use frequently. When entering transactions, you will then be able to select the Allocation Set by name rather than entering PTAs individually for each expense.

Step 1 – Log in to Expense Requests

Step 2 – Access My Allocations Preferences

Step 3 – Create Allocation Set

One PTA

Multiple PTAs (Split Allocation)

Click Add Allocation Set
Enter a name for the allocation in Allocation Name
Click Split Criteria icon
Select Equal Split or Percentage Split allocation method
Enter the first Project, Task, Award
Enter the second Project, Task, Award
Click Add Another Row and enter all other PTAs if applicable
If Percentage Split, enter Percentage for each PTA
Enter a reason for the split in Allocation Reason
Click OK
Click Save or Apply
