CANTOR ARTS CENTER
A premier destination on the Peninsula, the Cantor Arts Center plays a leading role in the vibrant, cultural life of the Stanford campus and greater community, welcoming some 200,000 visitors a year. Its collections include more than 40,000 works of art, spanning 5,000 years of history and crossing continents from the Americas to Europe, and from Africa to Asia. The Cantor offers diverse changing exhibitions in 24 galleries, a vibrant family program, lectures, performances, art classes and special events—providing a wealth of experiences for visitors of all ages.

ANDERSON COLLECTION AT STANFORD UNIVERSITY
The Anderson Collection at Stanford University opened in September of 2014 in a new museum building designed exclusively to showcase one of the world’s most outstanding private collections of 20th-century American art. This incredible in-depth collection contains 121 works by 86 artists and features foremost examples of post-World War II American painting and sculpture. Major movements represented include Abstract Expressionism, Color Field Painting, Post-Minimalism, California Funk Art, Bay Area Figurative Art, and Light and Space.
