Parking
Parking is available across the street in the parking structure at Panama Street and Via Ortega. In addition, there are multiple parking ticket kiosks in the Tressider Union lot that take coins, paper money and credit cards.
Driving directions
From Highway 101
Take the Embarcadero Road exit west toward Stanford. At El Camino Real, Embarcadero turns into Galvez Street as it enters the university. Stay in the left lane and continue toward the center of campus. Make a right onto Campus Drive. Follow the Campus Drive loop until you reach Panama Street. Make a left onto Panama and continue to the multi-level parking structure at the corner of Panama and Via Ortega, where you will find hourly pay parking.
From Highway 280
Exit Sand Hill Road east toward Stanford. Continue east past the traffic light at Santa Cruz Avenue and turn right at Stock Farm Road. Turn left at the second road, Campus Drive West. Make a right onto Panama Street and continue to the multi-level parking structure at the corner of Panama and Via Ortega, where you will find hourly pay parking.
From Caltrain
The Shriram Building is about a mile from the Palo Alto Caltrain station. A free shuttle service (the "Marguerite") runs from the Caltrain station to the center of campus. By train, Palo Alto is roughly one hour south of San Francisco and 30 minutes north of San Jose.
