Tenured Professor, Theoretical Chemistry

The Department of Chemistry at Stanford University invites applications for a tenured faculty position in the area of theoretical chemistry. Stanford Chemistry faculty address the most important questions of the 21st century by leveraging cross-disciplinary synergies to revolutionize scientific knowledge, educate future leaders, and build a collaborative scholarly community that advances fundamental chemistry and helps us to solve our increasingly complex health, energy, materials, and environmental challenges.
Candidates from all areas of theoretical chemistry are encouraged to apply. We are especially interested in candidates whose areas of interest include statistical mechanics. Applicants will be expected to teach courses at both the graduate and undergraduate levels.

Candidates from all sub-disciplines are encouraged to apply. Areas of interest include but are not limited to organic, inorganic, physical, biophysical, or theoretical chemistry. Applicants will be expected to teach courses at both the graduate and undergraduate levels.
