Last Updated: 9-Mar-2015

A guide to resources for PWR PWR 1EV: The Rhetoric of Globalization.

In this course, we will examine the competing meanings of globalization to illuminate the diverse ways that the networks of global interactions unfold at the local level. How do people perceive and experience this process locally? What role has the rhetoric of globalization played in forging multifaceted identities? How are we both agents and subjects in this process? In what ways has the Internet and social media changed the way that globalization has been understood and shaped?
