I am responsible for reviewing and negotiating the licenses and other documents pertaining to the electronic resources acquired by SUL.  In that capacity, I work with the representatives of various publishers and service providers to agree upon pricing, terms of use, perpetual access and archiving rights, and other factors.  I work  with all of the subject specialists in SUL, since they are key in determining which e-resources SUL should acquire. I work with the Acquistions Department, particularly the Electronic Resources Unit, on issues related to e-resource ordering and access.   Also, I am Stanford's official representative to the NorthEast Library Consortium (NERL), under whose auspices and negotiated discounts we acquire some of our e-resources.
