Account Credits and Refunds
Refunds of credit balances are issued to the student. Exceptions are made for Federal Parent Loans for Undergraduate Students (PLUS Loans).

Refunds of financial aid funds begin the Wednesday prior to the start of each term.

Students enrolled in Direct Deposit will see their funds in their bank account within 24-48 hours. Otherwise, a paper check is sent to the mailing address listed in Axess.
Students may have a balance owing even though a refund was sent.
Cash overpayments remain on the student account to apply to future charges. Any remaining cash overpayments will be refunded annually by August 31.
