SHC Patient, Jul 2015
I appreciated how personable Dr. Aurora was.
SHC Patient, Jul 2015
Dr. Aurora really knows her stuff when it comes to Cluster Headache. I really appreciate the time she spent with me and the prescriptions she wrote for me. Way better than my last neurologist and the staff is better too.
SHC Patient, Jul 2015
After waiting for 1.5 hours, I finally saw the Dr. The Dr. was rushed and just told me that she'd switch my medication and if that didn't work, to email her in a few weeks. No explanation as to why the new med would be better or that apparently it was sublingual vs. a tablet. I had to ask about taking it concurrently with another med - that should have been advised. Did not want to hear how my migraines have been presenting differently since the last visit although a 1st year resident has taken notes earlier. Dismissed my desire to talk about additional treatment modalities such as lifestyle modifications, including dietary changes. I wanted to understand the role of diagnostic in the event the migraines were caused by something more significant that "stress." Her simple response was that it was "unlikely I had a tumor"! I will never go back to see her. What a waste of time.

2 lines can not cover it! Within 20 minutes the doctor knew the disease I had. I have had this for 7 years & was misdiagnosed. Mostly, to be treated with such care and respect was a miracle!
