This graph looks at the observed to expected ratio of patients in the hospital who have a stroke after an elective carotid endarterectomy (CEA) from January 2012 to June 2014. The lower the ratio, the better.

None of our patients had a stroke during their stay in the hospital, after an elective CEA procedure in this time period. We performed better than expected, despite an expected stroke O/E ratio of 0.4, as measured by the Society of Vascular Surgeons (SVS).
