Conservation Campaigns
Initiated in 2010, Office of Sustainability coordinates campus-wide conservation campaigns focused on specific resources every season. Cardinal Green conservation campaigns provide an opportunity for individuals to get involved with Sustainable Stanford throughout the year. Students, staff and faculty directly contribute to sustainability efforts by participating in campaigns – and earn prizes and recognition in the process! Each individual on campus is encouraged to become active campus citizens and pledge their commitment to each campaign through the Sustainable Stanford portal. Participants receive specific actions and opportunities to get involved, as well as recognition and incentives for progress.
Office of Sustainability partners with groups across campus to design and implement conservation campaigns, with intiativies focused on energy, waste, water, and food.
