Support the Junior Museum & Zoo
The Junior Museum & Zoo depends upon generous contributions from the community through the Friends of the Palo Alto Junior Museum & Zoo. The Friends work closely with the City of Palo Alto and the Junior Museum & Zoo to provide:
Exciting and interactive museum exhibits
Free science education classes to students in East Palo Alto
Improvements and renovations to the Museum & Zoo facilities
Family memberships start at $100 and include invitations to Members-only events. These events are fun, family-oriented, and provide a close-up opportunity to get to our animals. Memberships make a great gift for holidays, new parents, birthdays, grandparents, and teachers.
The Friends have embarked on a campaign to build a new building and zoo and to expand educational programs, called The JMZ Initiative. Click HERE to view informational videos and learn more about this exciting initiative.
Our members-only events star special guests, like Loree Lee Harper, the Luna moth, who visited Halloween Zoo Night. Events feature exotic guest animals and hands-on science activities for families.
