The Information Technology Division (ITD) of Probation Department is committed to deriving maximum value from IT investments by partnering with business end-users and external organizations, and aligning IT resources with the mission, objectives, and business strategies of the Probation organization.
SYSTEMS OPERATION UNIT
Responsible for providing service desk support, monitoring IT systems security, and managing the Probation's IT infrastructure including servers, workstations, mobile devices, storage assets, and network distributed across five Probation's locations (Juvenile, Adult, James Ranch, North and South County).
APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT UNIT
Responsible for the development, implementation, training, and support of information management systems designed to meet Probation's business needs and to improve staff effectiveness and productivity. These include a variety of applications such as case management systems, risk assessment tools, administrative and universal referral systems.
BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE SYSTEM UNIT
Responsible for developing an enterprise approach for systems integration and a consolidated view of data model across all divisions of the Probation department. These include the development of reports, data base structure, data warehouse and business intelligence systems to support not only Probation's strategic and management decisions, but also provide data sharing services with its business partners.
