With the Math and Science Circles, Silicon Valley locals can attend weekly sessions for elementary, middle, and high school students. The Stanford Science Conference is an annual event that takes place at Stanford for high school students from across the country interested in science.
Math Circle
Engage your passion for math—year round!
The Stanford Math Circle offers quarter-long sessions for local, elementary-, middle-, and high-school students who are interested in math. Math circles are weekly gatherings of students working on problems involving complex and advanced mathematical topics, guided by mathematicians and educators. The weekly meetings take place on Thursdays on Stanford University’s campus.

Science Circle
Engage your love for science on Stanford’s campus during the school year.
Stanford Science Circle offer quarter-long classes for Bay Area middle and high school students who are interested in exploring the vast and exciting world of science. Weekly sessions are held at Stanford. The classes promote science interest through engaging lectures, hands-on activities, and students learn directly from faculty, researchers, and graduate students from the Stanford community.

Science Conference
Discover. Engage. Explore.
The Stanford Pre-Collegiate Science Conference aims to highlight current research from the perspective of Stanford scholars as well as the incredible work being done in science by young scholars across the country. Goals of the conference are to enhance and sustain student interest in science, and promote the importance of scientific exploration by all students, regardless of academic and socio-economic status. The 2015 Science Conference was held November 6 – 8 at the La Ka Shing Center for Learning & Knowledge at Stanford University.

Discovering Medicine @ Stanford
Discover medicine at Stanford this summer!
The three-day Discovering Medicine @ Stanford program is interactive, with small group workshops, and direct interactions with a variety of health professionals from the Stanford Health Care hospital, as well as faculty, staff, and students from the Stanford School of Medicine. The program is held mid-week in early August.
